Last Week’s Highlights: I’m highlighting pancake (crepe) and waffle links from September’s challenge, and a quick bread recipe since it goes with this month.
Buckwheat Crepes from Jenn CuisineSquash Fest: Don’t forget to stop by on Thursdays for a guest post on squash. Last week Wendy of Celiacs in the House shared a recipe for Curried Roasted Butternut Squash Soup. This week, I’ll have a post from Carrie of Ginger Lemon Girl about how to roast a squash.

I wanted to share with you this week my post about GF Substitutions Part 13 - Making and Using Gluten Free Bread because I share one of my favorite tips about using quickbreads!
I like to make a quickbread like zucchini or pumpkin bread, cut way down on the sugar to turn it savory rather than sweet, and then use it for sandwiches, paninis, etc. I often have much better success w/ quickbreads than yeast ones, so it's one trick I've adapted to make some consistently tasty sandwiches :)
Thanks for hosting and including the link-up reminder in your post. Some of us need it. :)
Those recipes you highlighted sound so scrumptious!
Love all the recipes you highlighted from last week! They look great!
Some of these other recipes have my mouth watering already. Both quickbreads and squash are old favorites of mine, so this looks to be a great month!
