Gluten-Free Wednesdays 9/15/10

Gluten-Free Wednesdays2

Welcome back to Gluten-Free Wednesdays!  I have a change for you this week.  I’m not using Mr. Linky, but instead I’m trying out Inlinkz which allows you to add a picture!  You are more limited in the text you can enter, though, so just put a description of your post, such as the recipe name and not your name or blog name.

I went back to last week’s post to look for links to highlight and realized I had not closed the carnival and there were several more entries since I last looked.  If you didn’t get a chance to browse all 25, you might want to go back and look at last week’s carnival.

September’s challenge is to create gluten-free pancakes or waffles, and a couple of related posts were linked up last week.
Sweet Potato Pancakes – a recipe from Alea @ Gluten-Free Flavor Full
Breakfast Waffles & Sandwich Waffles – A recipe review and ideas for using waffles from Shirley @ gluten free easily
I also created a new waffle recipe last week:

Multi-Grain Waffles
multigrain waffle with syrup 2

Thanks for participating.  Please read the guidelines if your haven't yet.
Now lets try out the new linky.  Remember, don’t put your name, just the recipe name or topic of your post.

I think the new linky tool worked. I am submitting a bean recipe because I cooked some heirloom beans from the market, but the recipe would work well with just about any type of white bean :)

Hi Linda! I submitted my Pumpkin Pie Waffles this week! I love the picture option! Glad I could stick with the gluten free waffle and pancake theme for September! Thanks for hosting! ;)

Made two recipes from the cookbook and have tasted 3 others. All great. Teaching my 20 year-old son to make the bread today, he liked it so much. Thank you Linda. After a crazy busy summer, hope to get back to participating on Wednesdays.

Oh, I love the new linky with the photos! Except now I don't want to go to work, I just want to start clicking away! LOL Later with a cup of tea in hand, I will do just that! Thanks for much for the shout out on the post on the waffles, Linda. I have really been enjoying adapting them and having all kinds of sandwiches again!

Love the linky with thumbnails. Thanks again for hosting. I am linking up with a Loaded Mashed Potato Casserole.

Love this style of carnival Linda! You can glance at a title but a lot of people are visual. Thanks for hosting!!

ooo! I made waffles recently too! Here's the link for them using the revised gluten free master baking mix: http://gingerlemongirl.blogspot.com/2010/08/gluten-free-wafflewiches-by-girl-who.html It's at the bottom of the post! :-) Great roundup! I love the pics!

I love the pictures. Everything looks so appetizing! I will be linking up late today, it is one of those days where I am hopping from the time I get up to after the kids are tucked in.

"Quick Chicken" for you this week. I tossed this together on a busy night and it turned out so well, it is company-worthy. 30 minutes from conception to table- just call me Rachel Ray this week- ha!!
